Schellhas Food Technology Consultants is a small service-based company specializing in developing new value-added alternative protein products for meat companies small or large, and being a prime conduit for new process technologies and machinery.
The company’s principal and owner, Karsten Schellhas, is a 4th-generation German Master Butcher and Sausage Maker, Alternative Protein Technologist and European-Trained Chef.
While the company is based in Vancouver, Schellhas Food Technology’s work has spanned both Europe and North America since 2002.
Our company’s core values stem from those of its principal, Karsten Schellhas. That is, the first building block is attention to the clients’ needs. Then we proceed with a focused intent, create a plan together with our clients and implement it in concert with all teams. We insure that all current health and safety and industry-wide regulations will be followed to the letter. All the while, our focus is on innovation and new product development.
